So It Begins

    About three and half years ago, I decided to take a path that many think is only a hobby or a joke. I wanted to become a professional recording, mix engineer and producer. From this post and on I will write about what has been going on during with me during the present and what I have planned in the future.

     I write soundtrack/trailer music under the alias name of "Gates of Vengeance". From learning a lot through creating songs for the past two years I feel I can write the EP that has the quality and impact I wanted to create since day one.

     Tomorrow I'm going to release the single off of the this EP to my friends on Facebook exclusively. Then this song will be released to everybody on October 9, 2015.

    The single: "No Mercy for the Faithful" is about ISIS gradually bringing war closer and closer to a city. This leads into the second part of the song with war having made it's way to city. Then all this is going on I pictured a little child standing in the middle of the street watching people die left and right, all the while the child is wondering why these people of the same religious background are showing no mercy for anyone of the same faith.

      Lastly, the title of the EP is set to be released on October 23, 2015. The name of the EP is going to be "Hell's Orchestra".

      Finally, receiving an "Assistant Engineer" credit on a record label album this summer has helped start a movement towards becoming the Engineer and Producer I want to be. This movement will be explained in more detail in the next post!
